Re: Change single color to another in image

You have your colors swapped. But you need to specify rgba with alpha values, if your image is transparent. Or disable the alpha channel then change colors then enable the alpha channel Try this (your value is 134 not 135). convert alhpa.png -alpha off -fill "rgb(0,0,255)" -opaque "rgb(134,134,134)"...

Re: Clipping results in empty image on CentOS

Do you have the same SVG rendered on both systems and the same versions? Inkscape, RSVG or MSVG/XML are the possibilities

Re: EPS input, PNG output: no clip path defined with 7.0.10

ImageMagick 7.0.10-5 Q16

This works:

Code: Select all

magick input.eps[1] -alpha transparent -clip -alpha opaque -strip output.png

Re: EPS input, PNG output: no clip path defined with 7.0.10

I was using IM 6.9.11.3 and 7.0.10.3 and GS 9.50 and it did not show.

Re: Sort by specific image properties

The only way that comes to mind would be to do template matching with your NE and W characters, assuming the stamps are always the same size. That can be done with the ImageMagick compare command. But it would not be quick. Otherwise, you might be able to threshold on the color of the letters and th...

Re: The tinting not quite doing what I need

You have to copy off the alpha channel, then turn it off and process the image, then add it back again. In Unix syntax: convert banner.png \ \( -clone 0 -alpha extract \) \ \( -clone 0 -alpha off +level-colors "black, red" \) \ -delete 0 -reverse -alpha off -compose copy_opacity -composite \ result.p...

Re: EPS input, PNG output: no clip path defined with 7.0.10

I opened your file in Photoshop CC and saved it as TIFF and also again as EPS. The TIFF file now contains an SVG clip path. But the EPS file that I saved again does not include an SVG clip path, at least according to identify -verbose.

Re: EPS input, PNG output: no clip path defined with 7.0.10

ImageMagick still sees no clip path. There is no SVG path in the file. convert input.eps -alpha transparent -clip -alpha opaque -strip output.png convert: no clip path defined `input.eps': No such file or directory @ error/image.c/ClipImagePath/703. However, I opened the file in Photoshop and it doe...

Re: query settings

Other than the code and any documentation that lists it, I do not know of any way to list out the default values of settings.

The only documentation I know is at https://imagemagick.org/script/command-line-options.php

Re: query settings

There is nothing to query unless you are in a command line doing some processing and then you would know what value you used. Settings are just that. You have to set them. Have you tried adding -verbose to your command line.

If I misunderstand your question, please clarify your use case.

Re: Query about temp files

I am not an expert on the code behind ImageMagick, but I have never seen that. Temp files are typically stored in the /tmp directory on Unix-like systems. Not sure where on Windows. But they have "ImageMagick" in the name.

Thanks for the clarification. Sorry, I do not have the needed JXR delegates installed. So I will have to leave this to the ImageMagick developers.

Re: EPS input, PNG output: no clip path defined with 7.0.10

ImageMagick still does not see any clipping path even with IM 6.

Code: Select all

convert input.eps -alpha transparent -clip -alpha opaque -strip output.png
convert: no clip path defined `input.eps': No such file or directory @ error/image.c/ClipImagePath/703.

Try zipping the file before uploading.

Re: PAID: Banner creation

There is no IM 3.4.1 that I know. If it existed it is very ancient. Current version is 6.9.11.3 or 7.0.10.3

Code: Select all

convert -version
will tell you your ImageMagick version
