Re: imagemagick composite multiple images

Can you explain more about how you want to merge them? Are you trying to overlay the PNG on the TIFF or put them side by side? Are the images the same size? Do they have transparency? Perhaps post and example input pair and your desired output image. You cannot use wild cards in ImageMagick commands...

Re: Fill transparent areas with color

Your images have no transparency. Always post your original images (so we can use it for processing). Also provide your IM version and platform. The way to handle this is by dilating the alpha channel using -morphology. Unix syntax: convert image \( -clone -fill blue -colorize 100 \) \( -clone -alph...

Re: change PDF font & background colour

The syntax would be: convert input.pdf -alpha off -fuzz 10% -fill black -opaque white -fill white -opaque "rgb(7,25,58)" result.pdf Note that ImageMagick uses Ghostscript to render PDF files as raster data. So you will lose all vector data in your new PDF. Adjust the fuzz value as desired. Add -dens...

Re: I can't create a BMP4 even using bmp:format=bmp4

I will leave this to the IM developers. Perhaps you are correct. I did not know there was a bmp5.

Did you try

Code: Select all

convert image.png BMP4:image.bmp

Re: Copy area from infile to outfile

Do you have a list of the crop coordinates for this image for each color, the size of the output you want, and the upper left corner of where you want to put each color? If so, we can help further. You can also auto convert the white to transparency and extract the bounding boxes for each color in o...

Re: Copy area from infile to outfile

Please post an example input and output image to some free hosting service and put the URLs here. We can then help you better.

Otherwise, see the -crop command and the -composite command.

Re: Remove some pixels colours

try adjusting the -fuzz value in the following as desired:

Code: Select all

convert 247.png -fuzz 35% +transparent white 247_result.png
If using IM 7, then replace convert with magick

Re: convesion of psd file with ColorSpace cmyk to jpg always have always black background

I believe that you have removed the alpha channel before you apply the background color. Change the order of those two lines. From: tempImage.Alpha(AlphaOption.Remove); tempImage.ColorAlpha(tempImage.BackgroundColor); To: tempImage.ColorAlpha(tempImage.BackgroundColor); tempImage.Alpha(AlphaOption.R...

Re: -type Grayscale differences in 6.7.8-9

IM 6.7.8.9 has the colorspaces for linear and non-linear reversed (a bug). This fails: convert origin.jpg -colorspace gray -colors 256 -type grayscale x2.png This works (though identify -verbose reports it as colorspace=lineargray): convert origin.jpg -set colorspace RGB -colorspace gray -colors 256...

Re: FavIcon generation

Best way is to get the larger orginal. There is no good way to enlarge a low quality raster image to higher quality. You can try some of the -resize defines at https://imagemagick.org/Usage/filter/ni ... upsampling

FYI The gradient mask composite is like multiplying the left by a ramp down and the right by a ramp up and then adding the two.

Re: -type Grayscale differences in 6.7.8-9

Sorry, I had not read your post fully. You want to keep the grayscale image, but have it list as RGB or sRGB, which? RGB should be dark. sRGB should be light. -type grayscale should not produce a linear RGB and dark file by itself unless your input JPG might have been linear. Furthermore, it should ...
